6 Days/5 Nights Maasai Mara, Nakuru, Lake Bogoria and Lake Baringo, (Permanent Tents in Mara, cabin in Baringo and local hotel in Nakuru)

Day 1 Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Morning departure from Nairobi, descending the escarpment and driving along the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai town of Narok. After a stop for refreshments, proceed to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve with game viewing enroute to the overnight camp.

Day 2 Maasai Mara
Full day game viewing with picnic lunch.
One of Kenya's premier reserves, the Maasai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti and world famous for the spectacular migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebra during the months of July and October. The Mara is also rich in resident game with over 95 species recorded. These include the "Big Five" - elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino - as well as giraffe, hippo, cheetah, hyaena, and numerous antelope. The Reserve is also rich in birdlife with over 480 species recorded in recent times.

Day 3 Maasai Mara - Nakuru
Early game drive before breakfast, after breakfast,  we leave the camp for another drive, optional visit to traditional Maasai village, before leaving via Narok to the Rift Valley town of Nakuru. Lunch en-route. We arrive late afternoon and proceed to our accommodation close to the park gate.

For many years Lake Nakuru has been famous for the thousands of flamingo that inhabit the shores of the lake. In recent times, the water level of the lake has fluctuated greatly and this has affected the numbers present at any one time. More importantly, the Park has been established as a rhino sanctuary and these are frequently seen on gamedrives - along with buffalo, lion, giraffe, waterbuck, and the elusive leopard.

Day 4 Nakuru – Lake Baringo

After an early breakfast, we enter the park for about 7 hours with picnic lunch, then transfer to Lake Baringo, (Robert’s Camp), for dinner and overnight.

Day 5  Lake Baringo

After breakfast, we proceed for a boat ride on the lake to view the crocodiles and hippos. Return to camp for lunch, then after a short rest, take a nature walk to see some of the abundant birdlife..

Day 6 Lake Bogoria - Nairobi

After breakfast, we proceed to Lake Bogoria, visiting the hot springs, and a scenic drive before lunch. Afternoon, depart for Nairobi, arriving late afternoon.
