TRIPS AND ACTIVITY HOLIDAYS TO THE UNITED KINGDOM

 

With the pound at an all-time low and the costs of goods and facilities actually falling in the UK, there has never been a better time to visit Britain especially those of you from countries using the Euro, which has gone from strength to strength against the pound.

 

Many people worldwide are unaware that Britain has such a wealth of beautiful countryside, outdoor pursuit possibilities and places of cultural and historic interest outside of London.

 

England and Wales have hundreds of miles of well marked and well maintained National trails, covering historic routes, places of outstanding natural beauty and some even have both. We intend to offer supported camping or hostel trips along all of these routes, but there is no requirement to produce a flyer or detailed web-page for each, as the official National Trail website,

has very comprehensive guides and links to each trail. and you can link to this directly, so that visitors can review all the locations in detail and then tell us which route they would like.

 

We are also offering to tailor Field Trips for students from overseas universities, to visit places of historical value, combined with some outdoor adventure and challenges.

 

Our intention is to produce trips for people who want to explore the backwoods of Britain, face some physical challenges, but at the same time discover the history of our fascinating past.

 

With a home base in Sheffield, we are ideally located for coverage of some of the most beautiful areas in England, the Yorkshire and Derbyshire Peaks and Dales.

It also puts us central to cover the whole of Britain.

 

With flights within Europe being so cheap, why not pop across whenever you have a few days and try something different?

We have already negotiated the use of a farm at Fox House, (Parson House), for use as an outdoor activity holiday centre. The place is already set up with dormitories and rooms, showers and changing rooms, dining room and lounge, indoor climbing wall and Gym, plus outdoor assault course. It can accommodate groups of up to 30 people and activities can be arranged for smaller sub groups. It is not necessary for everyone to be doing the same activity.

 

The centre has its own resident instructors during the busier periods.

 

It will be used as the hub for outdoor holidays which will offer: moor-land treks, climbing, abseiling, caving, potholing, kayaking, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting and horse riding is available close by. Visits to the Peak district and the Yorkshire and Derbyshire Dales, an area of outstanding natural beauty and diverse landscape, are easy days out from here. It is close enough to Sheffield for nights out.

 

Hadrian’s Wall trips from East Coast to West Coast are done with several packages of different duration, to cover this route as supported group trips, as a biking or walking holiday, or even a combination..

 

For those wishing to experience the coastal areas of Britain, camping and trekking holidays will be offered along the South-West Coastal Path of England.
